Founding Partner and Financial Advisor

Craig Wright, CFP®, ChFC®, MBA

Craig is one of the founding partners of Strategic Financial, serving clients since 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Counseling and Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University (2006) and a Master of Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University (2009). He earned his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College in 2021 and became a Certified Financial Planner in 2021. Craig married Katie in 2011, and they have two children, Elliott and Evalynn, plus their dog, Sugar. The family enjoys traveling off the beaten path, spending time at Table Rock Lake, and being outdoors together. Craig's personal interests include golfing, hunting, fishing, and playing guitar.

Fee Structure

  • Initial Planning Fee: $2,000 – $5,000 (determined after initial meeting based on scope of work; pro-bono arrangements available for qualified clients)
  • Ongoing Asset-Based Fee: Tiered fee starting at 1.25% and decreasing based on total assets under management. All household accounts grouped together to reach lower fee breakpoints.
  • DIY Investment Option: Ongoing annual planning for a flat fee if you prefer to manage your own investments.
  • What’s Included: Goal setting, building your initial plan, in-depth education, investment management, retirement planning, tax planning and optimization, estate planning, insurance planning, cash flow and budget analysis, gifting strategies, ongoing meetings and plan adjustments.
